Get the Full enchilada at The Printworks
South American heat wave has hit The
Printworks as Mexican bar & grill, Chiquito,
opens its doors to Manchester.
Whether you like your food hot and spicy or
simply tasty, then the Chiquito menu's got
it covered including the famous sizzling
fajitas, served with flour tortillas and the
essentials; salsa, guacamole and sour cream.
Or perhaps put some fire in your belly with
the spicy chilli or fill it up with a
succulent chargrilled burger & a choice of
tasty toppings. Make sure you leave room for
dessert, as Chiquito’s waffles with toffee
sauce are truly outstanding!
With The Printworks already offering cuisine
from around the world, the Mexican
specialists are expected to add a little
spice to an already expansive menu at The
Printworks.
The Printworks now have one of Manchester’s
largest eatery choices with cuisine from all
around the world. Whether it’s traditional
British, Portuguese, Japanese, American,
Irish and now Mexican…there’s something for
everyone’s taste.
Printworks competition winner ends difficult
year on a high
It’s not everyday that going out for a
drink around Manchester can win you a dream
holiday to Mexico, but that’s exactly what
happened to local lad Scott Mitchell when he
visited The Printworks.
Scott, aged 20 from Worsley in Manchester,
beat hundreads of other contestants in a
prize draw to win a trip to Mexico, courtesy
of 'The Friday Tour'. Winning the
competition marks the end of a difficult
period for Scott whose younger sister sadly
died earlier this year.
The Corona Friday Tour saw six weeks of
Friday fun descend upon The Printworks as
Manchester revelers were treated to a whole
host of entertainment including top DJ sets
and world-class break dancing groups, all
courtesy of Mexican beer supplier, Corona.
Partygoers were also asked to keep an eye
out for the Corona Girls who were offering
revelers the chance to win the dream holiday
to Mexico, resulting in Scott being crowned
winner through a random prize draw.
Scott comments; “I’m absolutely overjoyed to
have won the trip, it’s an amazing
opportunity and one that I’m very much
looking forward to after what has been a sad
year. It’s been a long time since I last
heard some real positive news so a trip to
Mexico is the perfect early Christmas
present.”
Scott is now planning to don a sombrero and
take the trip with his girlfriend in the new
year. Both are looking forward to escaping
the cold UK weather and relaxing by the
pool, escaping those New Year blues.
